CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Charleston Newspapers will be hosting a job fair Thursday at the Charleston Civic Center.
Employment opportunities to be presented at the fair range from part-time seasonal help to full-time positions with local companies.
Those attending the fair can meet face to face with employers in the mining, medical, restaurant, sales and other fields.
The fair will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Applicants should remember that attending the fair is a lot like going to a job interview, so make a good impression -- dress professionally.
You may be interviewed on the spot, so be prepared to fill out applications. Bring your résumé and a list of references.
Also, AARP WV will be there, offering tools to help those 40 and older find a job and maximize their potential.
