CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- On Tuesday, Papa John's pizza stores throughout West Virginia will donate 20 percent of their sales to support the families of two State Police troopers who were killed in the line of duty this summer.
Cpl. Marshall Bailey and Trooper Eric Workman were shot on the evening of Aug. 28 near the Wallback exit of Interstate 79 after pulling over a suspect during a traffic stop.
Bailey, 22, died that night and Workman remained in a coma and on life support for three days before he died at CAMC General hospital in Charleston.
All Papa John's pizza stores in the state are participating in Tuesday's fundraiser.
