FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- An official with the U.S. Small Business Administration is coming to West Virginia to view efforts to help businesses prosper.

SBA deputy administrator Marie Johns plans to visit the West Virginia High Tech Consortium Foundation incubator near Fairmont on Friday afternoon.

The SBA says Johns will meet with entrepreneurs to learn about their new businesses and discuss ways the agency can help them grow.

Located at the I-79 Technology Park, the foundation's business incubator was created in 1995 with seed money from the SBA. Seven entrepreneurs and small businesses are currently housed at the incubator.
