MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- The West Virginia University College of Business and Economics is accepting nominations for induction into the West Virginia Business Hall of Fame through Aug. 15.
"The Hall of Fame celebrates individuals who have made significant contributions in many ways to our state, and they remind us of the tremendous opportunity for economic success in West Virginia," Jose Sartarelli, Milan Puskar Dean of the WVU College of Business and Economics, said in a press release.
While having a college degree is not a requirement, nominees must demonstrate a commitment to their community, superb leadership and a strong tie to the state of West Virginia as outlined in the criteria.
Since the Hall of Fame's inception in 2001, 54 individuals have been inducted.
