Charleston police officers Cpl. Jeff Setser (left) and Sgt. Nick Null were both called to active duty in Iraq while working for the city. The Charleston Police Department is one of three state employers picked as a semifinalist for a national award that recognizes employers that go above and beyond in supporting employees who are in the National Guard or military reserves.
