CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The latest episode of "Radio Free Charleston" is online at The PopCult blog at thegazz.com/popcult. "RFC 159" is titled "Cap Senior Class Shirt," and in the host segments, Rudy Panucci wears the controversial shirt that almost got 21 students banned from Capital High School's graduation. According to Panucci, the host segments "were shot on the grounds of Capital High School without asking permission, as a show of support for the students."

The episode features music from Charleston's The Big Bad, Hurricane's In the Company of Wolves and Logan's Foz Rotten. (The latter two bands are making their "RFC" debut.) Also included are a trailer for Dennis Strom's film, "One Soldier, One Grave" and the animated short "Odd Days."

The Big Bad and Foz Rotten were recorded a few weeks ago at The Empty Glass, while In the Company of Wolves was recorded at the Kanawha Players Theater earlier in May.

Strom's Civil War film had its world premiere May 25 at The Alban Arts Center and will be available soon on DVD. It stars Justin Johnson, Derek Samms and John Halstead and is narrated by Parkersburg native Paul Dooley.
