CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Mac Frampton's Community Music Association concert, "Fanfare for the American Hero," pays homage to brave citizens before and after 9/11, as well as those who have defended our country. The 3 p.m. Sunday concert, at University of Charleston's Riggleman Hall, honors veterans in another way, too: those in full military uniform get in free and those in partial uniform get $10 off the ticket price.

Frampton, an award-winning pianist backed by a full band, is known for a sound based on classical technique while drawing from jazz and rock idioms.

Tickets are $35 for adults, $10 for full-time college students and $5 for ages 18 and under. Call 304-744-1400 or visit www.communitymusicassociation.com.
