CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- B.E. Taylor continues to explore amplified interpretations of holiday music as he brings his annual Christmas show to the Clay Center at 7:30 p.m. Monday. The Wheeling-based performer has a new CD out on Chrishae Records, "B.E. Taylor Christmas 3," and the tunes are emblematic of his mix of quiet then rousing versions of songs like "I Wonder As I Wander," which begins as a haunting ballad before morphing into a stirring anthem.

His Christmas show, now in its 15th year, will benefit the Manna Meal food pantry. Military personnel with a military I.D. who buy tickets in person at the box office can get a second ticket for free. Tickets range from $25 to $55. Call 304-561-3570 or visit www.theclaycenter.org.
