'The Dead and Buried' is simply amazing

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- When reading the first few pages of "The Dead and Buried" by Kim Harrington, I knew quickly that it was going to be a great book. The voice that Harrington writes in easily makes it so.

She writes in a way that just does not let readers put the book down. Once you start reading, you won't be able to stop. Harrington is able to combine a little bit of romance, mystery and action with some paranormal elements to make a ghost story that terrifies you and keeps you reading.

The story is exciting, fast paced and kind of morbid. In it, a girl moves into a home that she thought she had always wanted, but then she finds out there is a horrible history behind it.

"The Dead and Buried" is spooky and eerie; it's a mystery that will keep you guessing up until the last few pages. I was so interested in finding out the truth that I couldn't put the book down after I started it; I finished it all in one sitting.

"The Dead and Buried" is among the best ghost stories I have ever read. Jade and her little brother, Colby, are two of the most lovable characters, especially little Colby.

Jade is smart, resourceful and brave during her experiences in the book. She has to uncover the secrets of almost everyone in her new school to solve her mystery and save her family from harm.

Colby is the adorable little kindergartener who becomes an enormous part of the mystery, even if it is completely by accident. You can't help but love Colby and worry about him, even when Jade is in the middle of a huge mystery.

The book is spooky, spine tingling and just a good, classic ghost story. I adored it, and I loved Harrington's voice throughout the novel. The entire novel was one big cliffhanger, and I couldn't get enough of it!

I absolutely recommend this book to anyone who likes mysteries or ghost stories of any kind. But I have to warn you, if you get scared easily, I wouldn't recommend reading it after dark because if gets pretty creepy. If you don't get scared easy or like getting scared, though, you might like reading it after dark.

This is easily the best paranormal book I have ever read and one of the best books I have read in general. The story is great, and the characters are fun and mysterious at the same time.

"The Dead and Buried" is an awesome book, and I think everyone should read it -- even guys, though be warned there's a little romance involved.
