Spring break crafts
Spring break activities continue at the Clay Center through Saturday. They are free with museum admission of $6 for children and $7.50 for adults.
Crafts run noon to 4 p.m. They are windsocks, Thursday, recycled bead bracelets, Friday and collage hats, Saturday.

'Fiddler on the Roof'
The national touring production of "Fiddler on the Roof" comes to the Clay Center at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in a Broadway in Charleston show. Tickets are $37 and $61. Call 304-561-3570 or visit www.theclaycenter.org.
Internationally touring Beat poet Ron Whitehead will appear at the free Third Eye Cabaret Thursday at The Cellar, 8 Capitol St. The cabaret runs 7 to 11 p.m. and Whitehead performs at 9 p.m. Visit www.facebook.com/thirdeyecabaret.
Model train show
The eighth annual Collis P. Huntington Model Train Show runs Friday through Sunday at the Dunbar Community Center, 2601 Fairlawn Ave. It features numerous operating model railroad layouts, memorabilia collections and more than 100 dealer tables.
Hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $4 for adults and $1 for children ages 3-12. Call 304-543-2323.
The fifth annual A. James Manchin Memorial Marble Tournament for Kids will be held Saturday at the Culture Center. The free tournament is open to children of all skill levels ages 7-14.
The day starts at 9 a.m. with a beginners marble-shooting workshop by the West Virginia Marble Shooters Association. Tournament registration ends at 10:30 a.m., and the tournament begins at 11 a.m.
A male and female winner will become eligible to go to the 90th annual National Marble Tournament in Wildwood, N.J., in June.

Outdoor drama auditions
Mary Ingles Trail Associates Park will hold auditions for an outdoor drama based on the life of Mary Draper Ingles from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday and May 4 at the Beech Fork Sate Park office. A minimum of 10 females and 10 males age 16 and up is needed.
Performance dates are Sept. 12-15. There are two shows Thursday and Friday and three Saturday and Sunday.

Stage Co. auditions
Charleston Stage Company will hold auditions for the David Mamet's "Race" at 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the Capitol Center Theater, 123 Summers St. Parts are available for three men (one black) and one woman.

Free use of W.Va. song
Songwriters Constance Wolfe and Justin Peters have granted the state a two-year free use license for their song "West Virginia, West Virginia." Residents can use the song any way they'd like, be it for personal or commercial use.

So. Charleston murder mystery dinner theater
The South Charleston Chamber of Commerce will host Murder & Merriment's interactive murder mystery dinner theater "Marriage, Mob and Murder" at 7 p.m. April 12-13 at the Holiday Inn & Suites, 400 Second Ave., South Charleston.
Tickets are $40 and include an Italian buffet. Guests must be at least 21.
WVSU murder mystery dinner theater
A "Black and White Hollywood Murder Mystery Dinner" will be staged at 8 p.m. April 12 in Room 134 of West Virginia State University's Wilson Student Union. A buffet will be served.

The Beatles tribute band Liverpool Legends performs at 7:30 p.m. April 13 at Nicholas County High School in Summersville. George Harrison's sister, Louise, handpicked the band.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $9 for students and seniors in advance and $3 more at the door. Family ticket packages (two adults and two or more children) are $35 at the door.
