Bill Kirchen & Todd Burge in concert

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Singer/songwriter Todd Burge and guitarist Bill Kirchen will join forces for several area concerts in early May. Kirchen is the man behind the boogie woogie guitar riff from Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen's 1970s hit "Hot Rod Lincoln."

The duo's first performance is 7 p.m. May 2 at Route 60 Music in Barboursville. Seating is limited. Tickets are $12. Call 304-736-7466.

Other shows are May 3 at The Adelphia Music Hall in Marietta, Ohio; May 4 at the Monongalia Arts Center in Morgantown and May 5 at The Kathleen Howland Theatre in Canton, Ohio. All are at 8 p.m.

They'll also hold a free afternoon guitar and songwriting workshop at Marietta's Colony Theatre May 4.
