ALDERSON BRIDGEFEST: 8:30 a.m. with the opening of the Alderson Community Market at the Greenbrier River Interpretive Center. The family day features music, history presentations, book readings, a cardboard boat competition and more throughout the town of Alderson.
PLAY AUDITIONS: 2 to 4 p.m. Kanawha Players Theater, 309 Beauregard St. Singers and actors are needed for the musical "Sing Down the Moon: Appalachian Wonder Tales." Parts are available for 10 men and 10 women. Readings will be provided. Singers should prepare a two-minute speech. Performance dates are June 28-30.
