'Mountain Stage' meets FestivALL

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- "Mountain Stage" will cap off FestivALL 2013 with a concert at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Culture Center Theater.

The show features Jason Isbell, who came to prominence with the Drive-By Truckers and now performs with his new wife, Amanda Shires, a rising young Texas fiddler/singer/songwriter who'll also do a solo set; Stephen Kellogg, whose music reflects styles from the Eagles to Cat Stevens and multi-instrumentalist Lora Faye, the 2012 New Song Contest grand-prize winner.Also part of the show is The Fields of Gettysburg, a song cycle about the famous Civil War battle by West Virginia singer/songwriter John Walsh, performed with singers Todd Burge and Jessica Baldwin and backed by some of the musicians who played on the recording.
