Park Place Stadium Cinemas will host a special sensory-sensitive screening of "Planes" Saturday morning.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Disney movie "Planes" will be specially screened for people with developmental disabilities at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Park Place Stadium Cinemas, 600 Washington St. E. The lights will be turned on and the sound set at a lower volume. Guests may sing, talk and move around during the movie. People with dietary restrictions may bring their own snacks.

The PG-rated animated movie tells the tale of a crop-dusting plane with a fear of heights (voiced by Dane Cook) who lives his dream of competing in a famous around-the-world aerial race. Alonso Duralde of The Wrap says, " As shameless an attempt by Disney to sell more bedspreads to the under-10s as 'Planes' is, it nonetheless manages to be a minor lark that will at least mildly amuse anyone who ever thrust their arms outward and pretended to soar over the landscap."

The event is co-sponsored by The Arc of the Three Rivers, and tickets are $6. Call 304-345-6541 or visit www.ourshowtimes.com.
