CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- "Maul of the Dead" by Mitch Brian, is "a funny, silly take" on surviving the zombie apocalypse in a mall, says West Virginia State University theater professor Susan Marrash-Minnerly. "How can you not love a play about humans being trapped by zombies in a JC Penney store?"
The play, directed by student director Joshua Drew, will be presented at 7 and 11 p.m. Thursday and Friday in the university's new Skeen Black Box Theater in the Cole Complex on campus. The intimate theater setting "is sure to give the audience an up-close and personal interaction with zombies and survivors," Drew said.
