Colton Pack, who was a finalist on this season's "X-Factor" as part of country trio Restless Road, will perform and sign autographs in Charleston Town Center's center court beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday. The first 50 fans will receive a photo for him to sign.

Viola player Bernardo Di Gregorio will be joined by pianist Patrice Ewoldt for a recital to benefit the West Virginia Youth Symphony Pushkin Scholarship Fund at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Christ Church United Methodist, 1221 Quarrier St. The program includes Pietro Nardini's Sonata in F Minor, Georges Enesco's Concertpiece, Aram Khachaturian's Sonata for Viola Solo and Ernest Bloch's Suite for Viola and Piano.
Di Gregorio is Principal Viola in the West Virginia Symphony and the violist in the Montclaire String Quartet. He's also an artist-in-residence with the WVSO/Kanawha County Schools string program and is a sectional instructor and chamber music coach with the West Virginia Youth Symphony.

'Forever Plaid' auditions
The Kanawha Players will hold auditions for Stuart Ross' musical comedy "Forever Plaid," which features nostalgic pop songs from the 1950s, from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at their theater, 309 Beauregard St. Performance dates are May 9-10 and 16-18.
Those auditioning should come prepared with a 30-60 second unaccompanied song. Roles are available for five men and one women.

'9 to 5' auditions
The Charleston Light Opera Guild will hold auditions for "9 to 5" at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday at its theater, 411 Tennessee Ave. The musical, based on the Dolly Parton film, will be staged May 2-3, 9-11 and 16-17 at the Civic Center Little Theater.
Monday's auditions are for singing; those auditioning should prepare a musical selection and bring sheet music if it is not from the show. Tuesday's are for acting, and a script will be provided for cold readings. Wednesday is the dance audition; combinations will be taught, and you should be dressed to dance (including ballet or jazz shoes and character heels for women).
Lead roles are available for three women and one man. Supporting roles include four women and four men. A large ensemble of men and women is also required.

'Carmen' in Huntington
Huntington's Keith Albee Performing Arts Center will host a production of Bizet's famous opera, "Carmen," at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 20.
