LOGAN, W.Va. --"America's Got Talent'' winner Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. has contributed to a new book honoring coal miners.

The Logan Banner reports "Shovelful of Sunshine'' is about a young girl who copes with her father's job as a coal miner.

The book was written by Stacie Vaughn Hutton and published by Headline Books. Murphy wrote the foreward.

Hutton plans to be at a book signing in South Charleston on Saturday.
