Have you ever wondered what it is like being suited up to pump up the crowds during a pep rally or on football Friday night? Anthony Whitlock knows. This year, the Poca High School senior is the school's iconic mascot, The Dot Man.

Recently, he talked about what the job is like.

Q: What drove you to be the Dot Man?

A:"Being with my girlfriend Christina, becoming a performer for the school and also being a part of the band's marching show as the good guy who saves the day."

Q: What is it like being the Dot Man?

A:"HOT! You can get pushed around and stuff thrown at you, too. This is because people don't realize who you are."

Q: What is going through your mind when you put the suit on?

A: "'Wow, this is hot!' And just trying to keep people entertained and getting those who aren't pumped to pump up."
