CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Kohl's Cares scholarship program is accepting nominations of outstanding young volunteers now through March 15. More than 2,200 volunteers ages 6 through 18 will be rewarded for making a positive impact on their communities.

Two winners from each of the more than 1,100 Kohl's stores nationwide will win a $50 Kohl's gift card. More than 200 regional winners will receive a $1,000 college scholarship. From those winners, 10 national finalists will be selected and receive an additional $9,000 scholarship as well as have $1,000 donated to the nonprofit of their choice by Kohl's.

Nominees are divided into two age groups: 6-12 and 13-18. On each prize level, the number of winners will be split equally between the two groups.

Nominators must be 21 years or older. For official rules and nomination forms, visit www.kohlskids.com.
