Outside of the gameplay, very little has changed since "Final Fantasy XIII" wowed gamers two years ago with its presentation. "Final Fantasy XIII-2" is visually stunning and the soundtrack more than lives up to the high standard the series is known for. That said, the lip-synching could be better and there is the rare graphical hiccup, though nothing serious enough to spoil the experience.

At the end of the day, "Final Fantasy XIII-2" does everything a good sequel is supposed to do -- improve on what didn't work, and not screw up anything that did. Whether you played the original or are jumping on now, there's plenty to love about "Final Fantasy XIII-2."
