It's ironic that tagline for "Resident Evil 6" is "No Hope Left" because after playing "Resident Evil 5," I was convinced there was no hope left for a series that I had loved and supported from the very beginning. I've long bemoaned Capcom's decision to shift "Resident Evil" away from pure survival-horror to more of a standard action game, but I have to admit that after playing "Resident Evil 6" I'm starting to come around. The classic "Resident Evil" games will always hold a special place in my heart, but there's room for this new take on the franchise, too. "Resident Evil 6" has restored my hope in the series, and I can't wait to see what's next in "Resident Evil 7."
