Visually, "Saints Row IV" looks a lot like its predecessor. And that's not really a good thing. "Saints Row: The Third" wasn't pushing the limits of current consoles two years ago, so it should come as no surprise that "SRIV" looks even worse when compared to today's polygonal powerhouses.
Regardless, playing through the game's 20-plus hour campaign alone or with a friend is a blast. Whether you're scaling a building to collect a glowing power-up ("Crackdown," anyone?), destroying everything in sight from inside a tank or simply using your super-powers to trash an alien stronghold, "Saints Row IV" is a non-stop joyride of wonderful irreverence. And I wouldn't want it any other way.
