The 2010-2011 school year marked the 20th anniversary of the publication of FlipSide. We're one of the oldest teen newspaper sections in the country, and over the year, we've worked with hundreds of West Virginia teenagers -- primarily from Kanawha, Putnam and Boone counties, but some from as far away as Morgantown.

In celebration of this, we asked some former writers to share memories of their time on staff. Some recalled how FlipSide led them into journalism while others reminisced about things like seeing their first byline or a particular story they wrote.

We've gathered them in one section to share with you. Enjoy!
