"The greatest experience I have had in this career would by far be my trip to New York City this summer. I started out walking in a sideshow of New York Fashion Week and ended up walking for 'Project Runway' season eight contestant Michael Costello.
"I got to walk alongside one of the fiercest girls I've ever met, Kate Compton. I learned about the casting 20 minutes ahead of time and jumped on the subway in a T-shirt and jeans with only one pair of heels handy," Hall fondly remembered.
Hall is also the face of Charleston Town Center for 2013-2014. She said she was overjoyed when asked to accept the honor.
"After so many years of working with the wonderful Lisa McCracken, and now two years of working with Olivia Smolder, it is with great pleasure I accepted the offer to be the face of the mall for 2013-2014," she said. "I have spent countless hours working events and walking the runway in Charleston Town Center under the guidance of these hardworking individuals and to be recognized by them and the community in such a way is truly a wonderful feeling.
"It's also a great place to sort of introduce my career -- in the city I was born in and the state I've been raised in," she added.
Like most people in the modeling industry, Hall knows what it's like to start from square one. She knows what it's like to be worried about losing herself in the industry. She didn't want to be like most models when it comes to worrying about her weight, so she promised her supporters, including her mom, that she would continue her success in the industry in the healthiest and happiest ways possible.
"My best advice to aspiring models would be to always stay true to yourself," she said. "The best way to further yourself in any career is to get your name out there. You don't have to harm yourself for an opportunity; not everyone needs to be 6 feet tall and super skinny. You just have to be realistic."Though life has become hectic and a bit unexpected, Hall wouldn't trade it for anything. She loves what she does and will handle every unexpected task thrown at her. Her passion for modeling seems to burn brighter every day.
