'The Victim' (poem)
Advertiser

She held her head low for the longest time.

She wishes her daddy never committed that crime.

The same little girl who's heart beat fast.

It's not the same as it was in the past.

She can't help but remember as she screamed for help.

Not a sound, not even a yelp.

They locked her daddy in jail for abuse.

She's safe now; he will never be loose.
