We serve for this land

One nation under God is where we stand.

We pray for our families while we're away

A prayer that peace and comfort will stay.

As we walk across the battlefields

Fear comes into our heads

But we put on the full armor of God instead.

Let the flag fly high

Every day and night

So we will be reminded of every woman and man who fights.

Not everyone returns, you see

Because they gave their lives for you and me.

As we stand before our heroes tonight

We remember that they served for this land
