Tamarack license plates
BECKLEY, W.Va. -- The Tamarack Foundation is promoting West Virginia's artistic communities by applying for an exclusive license plate that supports art and artisans in West Virginia. The public is asked to help choose the final plate design by voting on the Tamarack Foundation's Facebook page.
Voting ends at 4 p.m. June 8, and the winning design will be announced June 20.
Once the winning design is selected, the organization will apply to the Division of Motor Vehicles. From there, the plate applications will be available from Tamarack and online sometime this summer. Once the minimum number of applications (250) is secured, the plates will go into production.
