The Charleston Chamber Music Society opens its 2012-13 season with a concert by cellist Antonio Lysy and pianist Patricia Hoy at 7 p.m. Saturday at Christ Church United Methodist. The program will include works by Bach, Rachmaninov and several contemporary composers.

Woody Guthrie tribute

Singer and storyteller Mick Souter presents "The Roads and Rails of Woody Guthrie" at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Pocahontas County Opera House, 818 Third Ave., Marlinton. Motown concert

Ivy & Stone presents Legends of Motown, starring Horizon, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Nicholas County High School in Summersville. The program includes a cappella songs from The Temptations, The Spinners, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye and Earth, Wind & Fire.

'A Clockwork Orange'

The Stanley Kubrick classic "A Clockwork Orange" is this week's film in Park Place Stadium Cinemas' Flashback Film Series. Starring Malcolm McDowell and based on the novel by Anthony Burgess, the Oscar-nominated film screens at 4 p.m. Sunday and 4 and 7 p.m. Monday. It originally was rated X, but later was changed to R, for extreme violence, strong sexual content including rape and other violence, graphic nudity, disturbing images and brief strong language. 'Mary' auditions

Auditions for the Contemporary Youth Arts Company's annual production of "Mary" will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Capitol Center Theater, 123 Summers St. They are open to singers and dancers ages 12 and older, who are encouraged but not required to bring a short prepared musical selection.

Production dates are Nov. 23-25 and Nov. 29-Dec. 1. Call 304-342-5716.
