CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The free, monthly ArtWalk returns to a host of downtown spaces from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Charleston Ballet continues its "Dancing and Drinks" series with a peek at ballet dancers at work as well as "Antique and Modern Porcelain Doll Creations of Becky Turley." Scott Milam and his son, Colin, will perform easy-listening music at Gallery Eleven, which features two new artists: Joyce Daniels and Arthur Evans.
Good News Mountaineer Garage Gallery will feature "New Deal Photographs of West Virginia, 1934-1943" along with the book's editor, Betty Rivard. Stray Dog Antiques will present "Jars" (pictured), collections of weird, amusing objects composited in jars by Gina Puzzuoli.
Romano & Associates features "Cultural Crossroads: Afghanistan," photos by West Virginia artist and soldier Todd Harrell of faces from war-torn Afghanistan.For more on that exhibit, click here.
