Craik-Patton holiday open house

The Craik-Patton House, 2809 Kanawha Blvd. E., will present "A Civil War Christmas" during its annual holiday open house Saturday. Jim Getty, a historian from Gettysburg, will portray Abraham Lincoln and provide insight on Christmas in the White House at 11 a.m. He will discuss President Lincoln's role in West Virginia's statehood at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Documentary screening

A free screening and discussion of "No Woman, No Cry" will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in Room 402 of Marshall University's Drinko Library in Huntington.
