Luke Bryan tickets

Luke Bryan, with openers Thompson Square and Florida Georgia Line, will play the Charleston Civic Center on Feb. 9 on the Dirt Road Diaries Tour. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday; they are $51.25 for general admission in the pit area, and $26.75 and $51.25 for reserved seats. Alpine Theatre benefit

A benefit will be held for and at Ripley's Alpine Theatre from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. The event includes the premiere of "The Shadow of October: The Barn After Dark," a documentary on the expansion of the popular Halloween attraction, the Haunted Barn. The silent short "Second Shift" and a music video for Ripley's Brewin Company's "Stand and Defend" also will screen.

Admission is $5, with all proceeds benefiting the theater. Call 304-372-1637.

St. Nicholas visit

St. Nicholas will be at the Morgan' Kitchen Museum from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday for a free visit where he will explain the history of Christmas and Santa Claus. The museum is located on MacCorkle Avenue near Walnut Street in St. Albans. Call 304-727-5972
