Eco-bead workshop
Unity of Kanawha Valley will sponsor a Meditation Eco-Bead Workshop from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at its location, 804 Myrtle Road. Local artist and Eco-Beader Sherri Walker will give the workshop, which uses recycled magazines, ads and calendars. If you have questions or for reservations, call Sherri Walker at 304-437-5683 by Feb. 20. The cost of the workshop is $25 per person, or bring a friend and both attend for $45. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Unity of Kanawha Valley.
KVVP meeting
Kanawha Valley Village People will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday for a potluck at the Hale House, 4208 Malden Drive, Malden. For information, call 304-389-3846.
Elk Valley PSD
Elk Valley Public Service District Commissioners will have a special board meeting at noon Thursday at 100 Bream Drive, Elkview.
Housing Authority
South Charleston Housing Authority Board of Commissioners will have its regular meeting at 6 p.m. Feb. 28 in the administrative offices located at 520 Goshorn St., South Charleston.
