Advertiser

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Start celebrating early with the St. Patrick's East End Pub Crawl from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday. Mountain Thyme (7 p.m.) and Appalachian Celtic Consort (8 p.m.) play tunes at The Empty Glass, while the Gypsy Stars, Jenny Allinder and Jim Mullins Celtic Duo, Wandering Celtic Minstrel and Out in Left Field rove between Bluegrass Kitchen, The Red Carpet, Tricky Fish and Little India Lounge.

The Shamrock Challenge dares participants to find five shamrocks (one at each location) and upload images to Instagram to be in the running for prizes. Stick around for 600 LBS OF SIN at The Empty Glass, starting after the crawl.

Registration is $18 and includes a t-shirt for those who pre-register by noon Thursday. Visit www.charlestoneastend.com for information and tickets.

C&H Taxi is providing free rides from the East End to Downtown starting at 10 p.m. for anyone wearing a Pub Crawl t-shirt. They'll also run their citywide Intoxi-Taxi service at no charge to any crawler needing a ride home (within a 15-mile radius).
