CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Rainbow Pride West Virginia 2013 Pride Week runs Friday through June 9 at locations throughout Charleston. For more information, visit www.pridewv.org/pride-week-2013.html.
The schedule is:
5 to 7 p.m.: Rainbow Social at Tricky Fish, 1611 Washington St. E.
Meet the Rainbow Pride West Virginia board of directors and enjoy door prizes and drink specials.
11 p.m.: Legends in Review drag show at Atmosphere Ultralounge, 706 Lee St.
Showcasing 17 years worth of Pride WV titleholders. Call 304-343-3737 for cover charge.
9 a.m.: Rainbow Run, sponsored by, beginning and ending at the Living AIDS Memorial Garden on the corner of Sydney Avenue and Washington Street East (next to McDonalds).
There are 5K races and walks and a one-mile walk, which are $25 for adults and $15 for children. Pets are welcome for an additional $10.

6 to 9 p.m.: Miss & Mr. Pride of WV Pageant at the Civic Center.
A drag pageant crowning this year's winners as well as featuring performances by current and former titleholders. Also features a photography exhibit by Chris Gosses of past titleholders.

2 to 7 p.m.: Pride Family Picnic at Barboursville City Park.
Includes a DJ dance party and local entertainers. Food and soft drinks included in admission of $5 for ages 13 and up (free for ages 12 and under).
7 to 9 p.m.: Prime Time Bingo at The Broadway, 710 Leon Sullivan Way.
A special edition of the monthly drag queen bingo game. Call 304-343-2162 for cover charge.
6 to 8 p.m.: PFLAG meet-and-greet at Covenant House, 600 Shrewsbury St.
A free evening with refreshments to get to know the members of PFLAG Huntington-Charleston, a support, education and advocacy group for family members and friends of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender and intersex people.
6 p.m.: Documentary night at Covenant House.
