Hansford Center will have a picnic from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday on its grounds at 500 Washington St. in St. Albans. The staff of Putnam Aging will provide a lunch of hot dogs and all the trimmings. For those older than 60, the cost of lunch is by donation. Younger than 60, the cost is $4. Canopies will be set up to provide some shade. Dance, or just listen to music provided by the Brown Sisters.
The St. Albans Historical Society will have an open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at its museum at 404 Fourth Ave., adjacent to the C&O Depot. Visitors are encouraged to bring their vintage St. Albans photos to be scanned.
Morgan's Kitchen Museum in St. Albans will be open from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the cabin along MacCorkle Avenue. The cabin was built in 1846 and contains vintage kitchen items from when it was used as a plantation kitchen.
