The Actors Guild of Parkersburg, 724 Market St., will stage the Tony Award-winning puppet musical "Avenue Q" at 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Aug. 2-3 and 9-10 and 2:30 p.m. Aug. 4.

Razor Sharp Studios will hold open casting calls from noon to 3 p.m. and 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Frütcake, 1599-A Washington St. E., for the horror film "Pig Girl," a spin-off of Eamon Hardiman's "Porkchop" series. Male and female actors of all types ages 18-45 are sought.

Kanawha Players auditions
The Kanawha Players will hold auditions for "Night of the Living Dead," based on the classic film, from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday at the KP Theater, 309 Beauregard St.
Parts are available for four women, 11 men and 17 non-gender specific. Scripts will be provided for cold readings. Get more information on the roles at www.kanawhaplayers.org.

Murder mystery dinner theater
Murder and Merriment present the interactive murder mystery dinner theater "Marriage, Mob and Murder!" at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Shawnee Park Great Room in Dunbar. The setting is an Italian wedding reception, and guests may dress in costume if they wish. Dinner is an Italian feast.
Tickets, $40, include dinner, entertainment and a chance to win prizes. This is a fundraiser for the Dunbar's Historical Preservation Commission/Society. Seating is limited; advance reservations are required.
