CYAC opens new play Thursday

CHARLESTON, W.Va. --  The Contemporary Youth Arts Company will stage the newest Dan Kehde play, "Einstein and God," at 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and June 7-9 at the Capitol Center Theater, 123 Summers St. Mixing humor and tragedy, the play traces the challenges of a German family in America, whose members wrestle with crossed allegiances with the onset of World War II and the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

The play stars Nik Tidquist, Maddy Gouerevitch, Mandy Harper, Mariah Plante, Craig Auge, Donnie Smith, Heather Newhouse, Austin Susman, Daniel Calwell, Rick Fleenor and Paul Dixon. Tickets are available at the door for $12 for adults and $6 for students and seniors. Call 342-6522.
