Symphony League invites children to tea

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Queen, played by Helen Lodge, will make an appearance at the West Virginia Symphony League's Royal Tea Party, 12:30 p.m. Dec. 4 at Berry Hills Country Club.

Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite "fascinator" hat and gloves to the children's tea of strawberries, sandwiches, scones, cookies and gourmet tea. West Virginia first lady Joanne Tomblin will read to the children, who will also dance with ballerinas.

The tea costs $30 per person or $350 for a reserved table for eight. To make reservations, call 304-343-3207 or email mrubi...@suddenlink.net.
