Joyful Night is Dec. 1 at Capitol Complex
Charleston, W.Va. -- Gov. Tomblin and his family will welcome visitors to the annual Joyful Night celebration and tree lightings at 5:45 p.m. Dec. 1 at the Capitol Complex.
The evening will begin at the North Plaza of the Capitol with music and the tree lighting. Afterwards, there will be music and another tree lighting on the South Plaza.
On the first floor Rotunda of the Capitol will be a holiday tree decorated with ornaments handmade by school children. Music will be performed there, and in Governor's Reception Room. The Tomblins will continue the tradition of reciting "Twas the Night Before Christmas."
The Governor's Mansion will be open with musical performances. Music and light refreshments will be available at the Culture Center.
