CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- "Radio Free Charleston 155" is online now at the PopCult blog at thegazz.com/popcult. The episode features music from The Amorous, Godmode Broadway and Dual Core, plus the return of the animated series "Stark Charleston."

The first musical guest is Clarksburg's The Amorous, an indie-pop band with spiritual leanings. The band was recorded live last year during Charcon, and the video featured a studio recording of the song "Here It Goes."

Animation is a new installment of "Stark Charleston," with music composed by RFC host Rudy Panucci. "Stark Charleston" is a high-contrast black-and-white trippy travelog through town with unsettling synthesizer music.

Godmode Broadway jumps between progressive rock, metal, reggae, surf and any other style the band feels like playing -- sometimes during the course of a single song. The band is made up of Billy Freedom on vocals, Will Smoot on guitar, Steve Walker on bass, Ben Lamb on drums and synth-master David Synn. "Surfboards and Broadswords" is a video filmed in the band's rehearsal space in South Charleston.

The episode ends with more from Charcon, specifically from a performance at Hack3rcon by nerdcore rapper DualCore, with "This One's For You."
