Power Park Thirsty Thursday concert series begins

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Beatles tribute band Rubber Soul kicks off the Thirsty Thursday Concert Series at Appalachian Power Park Thursday, with music starting after the Power's game. Games start on weeknights at 7:05 p.m. and the music immediately follows.

Game tickets ordered online are $5 general admission and $7 for box seats with tickets $7 and $9 at the box office on game day To attend the concert only, tickets drop to $5 after the end of the 7th inning.

Other performances in the series are Red Wanting Blue, May 24; 80's Tribute group Mighty McFly, June 14: Red Hot Chili Peppers Tribute group Higher Ground, June 21; Tim McGraw Tribute act Adam D. Tucker, July 5; Neil Diamond Tribute act The Black Diamond, July 19; The Dave Matthews Tribute Band, Aug. 2; Kenny Chesney Tribute performer Dennis Murphy, Aug. 3.
