Red Wanting Blue at Power Park concert series Thursday

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Based in Columbus, Ohio, hard-touring rock troubadours Red Wanting Blue have scored loyal fans across the region. The group brings it passionate, poetic songcraft back to town today as part of the Thirsty Thursday Concert Series at Appalachian Power Park. Music starts after the baseball game, which begins at 7:05 p.m. Thursday.

Game tickets ordered online are $5 general admission and $7 for box seats with tickets $7 and $9 at the box office on game day. To attend the concert only, tickets drop to $5 after the end of the seventh inning. Order tickets at www.wvpower.com or call 304-344-BATS.

The band will be back in town on June 9 for a show at the Sound Factory.
