Gospel concert

Award-winning gospel artist Ed Crawford will perform at Elkview's Antioch Church, 1409 Aarons Fork Road, at 2 p.m. Sunday. The concert celebrates his new CD, "Timeless Treasures," which features hymns that Crawford said he grew up singing in West Virginia.

Crawford is known as "The Gentleman of Gospel Music." He's a founding member of the U. S. Association of Gospel Entertainers and Musicians and has been singing Southern gospel for more than 35 years.

There is no admission, but a love offering will be taken. Call 304-548-5516.

River cruise

On Tuesday, the Point Pleasant River Museum is sponsoring an Ohio River dinner cruise on the Belle of Cincinnati. Boarding is at 6 p.m., with a 7 p.m. departure and 9:30 p.m. return. There will be live entertainment and a silent auction.

TV commercial casting

A local production company will film a television commercial in the Charleston area the week of Aug. 13. There are paid roles available for parents (mid-20s to late 30s) and a young girl (age 5-19).
