CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- An endless stream of musicians and bands ply their trade at 10,000 clubs every night, but there are far fewer master musicians who bounce into clubs. That's why every visit to town by Larry Keel and Natural Bridge is noteworthy, especially if you've never before seen this mutton-chopped master of fiery bluegrass flatpicking go to it with a band that matches him note for note on mandolin, upright bass, five-string banjo and killer group vocals.

The Keel crew returns to what will no doubt be a jam-packed Boulevard Tavern, 806 Kanawha Blvd. E., this Friday in a show starting about 10 p.m. Cover is $10. Call 304-205-7951 or visit theboulevardtavernwv.com.
