FAYETTEVILLE, W.Va. -- The West Virginia Music Hall of Fame is looking for memorabilia to display at a satellite exhibit in Fayetteville.

The exhibit will be located at the Historic Fayetteville Convention and Visitors Bureau's office.

Harmonica legend Charlie McCoy, songwriter Donny Kees and other Fayette County musicians will be showcased in the exhibit, along with musicians from across the state.

Hall of fame officials plan to make a presentation at the Town Council's meeting Thursday to solicit memorabilia and input. Director Michael Lipton tells The Register-Herald that they hope people will introduce them to local musicians they aren't aware of.
