CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- "Real American Hero Shirt" is the first of three "Radio Free Charleston" episodes devoted to the recent Tribute to the Troops II concert, and it can be seen now at The PopCult blog at www.thegazz.com/popcult.

On Aug. 11, Wood Boys Music took over the St. Albans City Park Amphitheater for an all-day, all-ages benefit show for U.S. troops. More than $1,000 was raised for The Wounded Warrior Project and The National Guard Fund.

The "Radio Free Charleston" cameras were on hand for the first half of the concert. In the next three weeks, the Web show will screen music from Breedlove, The Under Social, Remains Unnamed, Deck of Fools, Johnny Compton, Point of Jerus and more.

The musical guests this week are HarraH, In The Company of Wolves (pictured) and Everpulse. The show kicks off with 14-year-old Cadence Weaver singing the national anthem.

Also, this week marks seven years of The PopCult blog. To mark this anniversary, blog author and "RFC" host Rudy Panucci has been presenting special posts, beginning with a five-part, 150-picture photo essay of The Marx Toy Museum, posted last Friday.
