John Lilly starts US tour with Wednesday concert

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- John Lilly, one of Charleston's best-known performing songwriters, is kicking off a two-month tour that will take his original, traditional and classic country music across the U.S., including northwards to Alaska. He'll kick off the musical sojourn with a free concert in the fellowship hall of his church, Elk Hills Presbyterian, at 7 p.m., Wednesday.

The church is off W.Va. 119 N, about a mile from Exit 1 on Interstate 79. (Use the parking lot on Viking Road just before the Day and Nite Market.) Call 304-346-4013.
