'Alice in Wonderland'

Festival of Colors

From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, New Vrindaban will host a Festival of Colors at the Palace of Gold, 3759 McCreary's Ridge Road, Moundsville. The event celebrates a tradition dating back thousands of years in India.

Every two hours, there will be a unified "color throwing," where brightly colored organic starch is thrown into the air. There also will be live music throughout the day and a meal from an Indian gourmet vegetarian cook.

Drag show

Rainbow Pride of West Virginia will present a drag show at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Capitol Center Theater, 123 Summers St. Tickets are $10 for general seating and $15 for VIP. Zombie party

The Wonderful Working Zombies Night Out Party, sponsored by Electric 102.7, runs 9 p.m. to midnight Saturday at the Kanawha Players Theater, 309 Beauregard St. The all-ages, family-friendly event is emceed by Coach and Maggie, from Electric 102.7.

It features a meet-and-greet with the cast of the KP's upcoming "Evil Dead The Musical," a dance contest, games and food. The Cemetery Knights Car Club will be there, too.

Participants should come dressed as their favorite occupation and in their best zombie makeup or mask. Free zombie makeovers will be offered from 8 to 9 p.m.

Unknown Hinson

"Hillbilly vampire" Unknown Hinson brings his country-western tunes to Huntington's V Club, 741 Sixth Ave., at 10 p.m. Saturday. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets, $15, are available in advance at www.vclublive.com or at the door.

Park Place flashback film

Needtobreathe
