Symphony Family Series kicks off on Saturday

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra's Family Discovery Series opens with "Little Red Riding Hood" at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Clay Center. The performance, sponsored by City National Bank, features Grant Cooper's original work "Boyz in the Wood," a modern re-telling of the beloved children's tale.

Visitors can take part in a Musical Instrument Petting Zoo and other activities starting 10 a.m. in the Grand Lobby. Tickets start at $10 for adults and $5 for students and children. Girl and Boy Scout youth in uniform receive free admission.
