The Lettermen join Huntington Symphony for holiday show
The Lettermen join the Huntington Symphony Orchestra for "Holiday Memories" Saturday night at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Huntington Symphony Orchestra will team up with The Lettermen in a show called "Holiday Memories" at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Big Sandy Superstore Arena. The group scored more than 25 hit singles in its heyday in the '60s and '70s, with such classics as "Put Your Head On My Shoulder" and "Shangri-La."

There have been several personnel changes over the years, and the band now features a single founding member -- Tony Butala -- with Bobby Poynton and Donovan Tea. Read up on the band's history at www.thelettermen.com.
